Mildred Nelson is a retired 30 year educator from Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. She has served as a kindergarten teacher, reading specialist, program specialist, assistant principal, principal, and executive director. Mildred is currently serving as a 120-day assistant principal at Glenview Elementary School.

Mildred holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from Tennessee State University. She also holds a Master’s +30, English Language, and Administrative endorsement from Lipscomb University.
